East Launceston Croquet Club began as one of two East Launceston Croquet Clubs about 1915. They transferred to their Windmill Hill position in 1916.
twilight games are held in summer with a sausage sizzle to follow.
Gerrard Trophy (golf croquet) is held in April.
Club championships are played between November and March with the finals in April. (Top)
Visitors are very welcome to come and play - cost is $3 per day.
Membership fees are $140 due in July. (Top)
Coaching is available on Saturdays or by individual arrangement. Coaching for new members is available - 10 lessons for $70 and then the learner can choose whether to join the club or not. (Top)
Courts are available every day but organised games are held on Monday, Thursday and Saturday. Saturday games are on a trial basis - first Saturday in each month short 50 minute games with bisquing and the third Saturday in the month is golf croquet. (Top)
